It’s usual for pregnant women to embark on a cleaning frenzy as their due date nears but the nesting instinct seems to be kicking in early for Molly-Mae Hague. The Love Island star has just shared the results of a mammoth tidy-up of her makeup drawers and shared the impressive results with her fans.
The influencer still has around two months to go until she welcomes her first child – a baby girl she’s expecting with her reality TV star partner Tommy Fury – but she’s already busy getting her life and her beauty regime organised.
Posting on her Instagram Stories, Molly-Mae has shared a video of her beauty cabinet, looking in serious need of organisation. The camera sweeps over a cluttered shelf, stacked with everything from designer face creams to deodorants.
Then, with a click of her perfectly manicured nails, the star shares the finished look of her tidy-up. All her products have been separated into neat cream and perspex baskets which fit perfectly into the sliding cabinet drawer.
While she’s mixed lots of her favourite brands into baskets for tasks like cleansing and moisturising, there’s one name that takes pride of in its own dedicated section: Elemis.
Molly-Mae has an area reserved just for the skincare brand, where she’s slotted in cult faves such as Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and Cleansing Balm (although we do spy one rogue Clinique cleanser in there too – perhaps baby brain is kicking in early too?!)
The clip she’s shared is only one part of the big beauty tidy-up, as Molly-Mae explains she’s filmed a whole other drawer makeover for her YouTube channel. So that’s a second helping of beauty snooping to look out for.
We won’t do the full maths of how much the contents of her first beauty drawer is worth, but a quick calculation indicates it’s upwards of £850 for the Elemis stash alone! And since we spy lots of other premium brands in there, including Tatcha, Estee Lauder and Ole Henriksen, the whole lot is easily worth upwards of £1k.
If you’re interested in giving your own beauty products a sort this weekend, you’ll be happy to know Molly-Mae’s organisation drawers are a lot more reasonable in price, with Shein offering similar rope baskets for just£4.50 hereand Amazon selling acrylic sorting trays for£15.99 here.
Also, if you want to give some of Molly-Mae’s favourite products a try – because after all, who wouldn’t want to take skincare advice from someone with skin as smooth as her? – we have just the offer for you to take advantage of. This month’s OK! Beauty Box contains a luxury travel size pot of Elemis Cleansing Balm, usually £46 for a full-size tub. New subscribers can nab the pot and four other skincare products totalling a whopping £110 foras little as £7.50 here.
