Suzy Cortez, a well-known fitness influencer and model, has ditched selling saucy snaps online to pursue her dream of becoming a bodybuilding champion. Following a strict training routine, the 30-year-old, who has 1.5 million followers on Instagram, hopes to be ready to enter the competition in six months.

But her fitness regime isn’t for the faint-hearted, including 200kg squats and eating every three hours – with plenty of protein on the menu.

She said: “My routine consists of a diet made specifically for my world bodybuilding wellness category. It has a high amount of carbohydrates and proteins.

“For example, rice, chicken and green salad, banana, oats, food supplements, and manipulated foods containing vitamins for muscle strengthening. My routine is dedicated to this 24 hours a day.

“When I wake up, I start by doing cardio exercise on an empty stomach. Then I do my pre-workout nutrition and training, followed by facial massage sessions and stretching.”

“I’ve been doing squats at 200kg at the moment and it just keeps increasing.

“Leg press is another very effective exercise for my category, I can pick up 500kg.”

The ex-model, from São Paulo, Brazil, can’t wait to show the world what she’s got.

However, while she loves her “big” muscles, she says they “turn men off”.
