DEAR DEIDRE: BEFORE all the pubs and restaurants shut, I had my first night out in ages – and my boyfriend is still going on about it, accusing me of going on a date with another man.
I can’t stand his jealous behaviour much longer.
I’m 30 and have a six-year-old daughter who is autistic. She is lovely but needs a lot of attention.
My boyfriend is 33 and we have been together for a year.
He seems to resent the time I spend with my daughter and has made jealous comments.
I hardly went out even before we were all told to stay home. Now I feel trapped with a partner who is making life at home even worse.

DEIDRE SAYS: The virus will be here for a while yet and your little girl shouldn’t suffer from his irresponsible jealousy.
Tell him it’s over and he must act more caringly around your daughter until he finds somewhere else to live – or at least stay temporarily.
If he is difficult, find support through the National Domestic Abuse Helpline (0808 2000 247) or see womensaid.org.uk.
See autism.org.uk for guidance and resources about coronavirus and autistic children.
