Optical illusions can be very confusing to understand at times.
No matter how hard you look at an image, there's always something hidden.
Now a new brainteaser will seriously leave you scratching your head for hours.

It comes as around 150,000 Brits make the mistake of putting the wrong fuel in their vehicle.
Coloured pumps at petrol stations are there to help people avoid the blunder, but it still happens frequently.
iCompario produced a new optical illusion which is seriously stumping players.
So what do you see?
According to the creators of the image, each row contains fuel pumps which are exactly the same colour.
But when you look at the image, you'll find the pumps are actually different from one another.
Although it looks like there are a variety of different colours, surprisingly there's only 5 different coloured fuel pumps.
But each row is exactly the same.
When you look closer, coloured lines run across the pumps which can trick your brain into seeing different shades.
The colour the fuel pumps are perceived to be depends on the colour used on the lines around the image.

For example, the red line gives the fuel pump a different perceived colour.
This can lead our brain to see some fascinating colour changes which are not there.

It may surprise you, but all three fuel pumps are the unleaded green colour.
While the illusion might be confusing, it's important to fill up with the correct fuel when visiting the petrol station.
If you do make the mistake, avoid running or starting the car as it could cause damage to the entire engine.

"This Munker-White optical illusion, runs different coloured lines through images to make people believe the image colour has changed colour or is a different shade.
"However, it doesn't change the same colour throughout."
