It is a decidedly low-key appearance from Mike after a busy few weeks, with the sportsman accompanying his wife to the royal’s Easter service and Prince Philip’s memorial event.

Katherine, who went to school with Mike, got her big break in 2006, when she landed the coveted role of Becky McDonald in long-running ITV soap Coronation Street.
Initially signing up for 12 episodes, the Barnsley-born actress would film more than 700 episodes during her unexpectedly extended stint, which ran until 2012.
Katherine was one of the guests at Mike’s royal wedding to Zara in Edinburgh and it appears the duo have remained close.
The pair could be seen on their way to the Film Soho company, which encompasses several smaller brands, including Studio Soho Distribution and Soho Talent.

Zara teamed the £350 statement LK Bennett dress with nude heels and a striking pillbox-style headpiece, while schoolgirl Mia looked pretty in a blue ditsy floral dress. The couple left their youngest children, Lucas, one, and Lena, three, at home.
