McDonald’s is slashing the price of two classic menu items by up to 70% – but you’ll have to be quick!

McDonald’s is discounting two fan favourites – but you’ll have to be quick, because the offers are for one day only.
For UK customers planning on treating themselves to a breakfast from the fast-food chain, the Double McMuffin is up for grabs for just £1.99 tomorrow morning, saving £1.60.
McDonald’s lovers can choose between bacon or sausage, teamed with a free range egg, a slice of cheese, carefully tucked between a freshly toasted English muffin.
A staple for many, fans can also grab a Quarter Pounder with Cheese from 11am for £1.49, saving £2.90 – almost 70 per cent.
Whether it’s for lunch or dinner, the 100 per cent beef quarter-pound patty is accompanied with two slices of cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and a dollop of tomato ketchup in a sesame seed bun.

Customers will be able to earn points when they purchase one of these deals by opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
The scheme means every penny spent equals one Rewards point, so this week’s offers will get you 199 points when grabbing a Double McMuffin and 149 points when picking up a Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
There are some amazing rewards available for customers to treat themselves to when point milestones are hit.
When diners reach 1,500 points, they can choose between menu items including small Fries, a Hash Brown, or a Side Salad.
With 2,500 points, a Double Cheeseburger or Vegetable Deluxe is on the cards for foodies.
Finally, with 4,000 points, customers can choose between menu favourites like 6 Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac.

All deals are exclusively available on the McDonald’s App and customers can start earning points on all orders by downloading via Google Play or the Apple App Store, signing up and opting into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
McDonald’s breakfast is available from 5am-11am, and McDonald’s lunchtime menu is available from 11am daily.
