Made in Chelsea star Digby Edgley has revealed how he “didn’t give himself time to heal” following his split from Liv Bentley and described how he would “never say never” to returning to the show.
The 27 year old, who joined the cast of the E4 show in 2017, split from ex-girlfriend Olivia after two years in 2019 when the pair called it quits during a trip to Croatia as part of a spin-off show.
Digby, who regularly shares modelling snaps to his 118,00 Instagram followers, described how lockdown, where he was isolating with his family in Somerset, allowed him to “work on himself”.
Speaking exclusively toOK! about what he has learned from past relationships, Digby said: “I have learnt quite a lot from my previous relationships and I think I have got to the point where I know what I want now.
“Normally I am that person who would hop from relationship to relationship. It is kind of what I did straight after Liv [Olivia Bentley]. I kind of hopped into another relationship and didn’t really give myself time to heal.”
Digby, who has recently launched Ping Culture, an app to find the hottest venues and experiences, with his best friend Oliver Andersen-Cox, added: “Lockdown has really allowed me to work on myself, be incredibly productive and everything is going well.”
The former reality star, who recently moved back to London to coincide with the launch of Ping Culture, described how he still keeps in touch with members of the SW3 set.
He said: "There are a few people including Miles [Nazaire] and I bumped into Liv [Olivia Bentley], funnily enough the other day!
“I keep in contact Alex Mytton and quite a few of them. I definitely see them out and about in London but lockdown has been tough to keep in contact.”
The semi-professional golfer and model also revealed that he would “never say never” to returning to cast of Made in Chelsea or reality TV and still catches the “odd episode” of series 21 to catch up on the “gossip”.
He added: "You know what never say never! I am all about opportunities. Obviously, I have done the Made in Chelsea stuff before, but again, I am very, very busy at the moment and life is good so we shall see what happens.”
Digby added how he “might get back on the dating scene” following the easing of lockdown restrictions and make use of Ping Culture which highlights the best spots in the capital.
Speaking about dating, he added: "It’s been quite quiet throughout lockdown so I definitely will!
“We have a category on Ping Culture for date spots and we have made it really, really personal with first date venues so it is definitely something that I think I might use to get back on the dating scene.”
Following the launch of Ping Culture, Digby described how he had always “really wanted” to be an entrepreneur and met app co-founder and friend Oliver while he was living in South Africa last year.
Digby said: “He was coding and building the system and I turned around and went: ‘Mate it is so frustrating – I love Cape Town but I have no idea what to do! How do I go about finding the best experiences?’
“He started to tell me about Ping Culture and we hit it off. I was like: ‘Get me involved!’”
“We used the app to do a trial and error in Cape Town and had the best three months of our entire lives.”
The app, which streamlines planning a night out to find the closest tube station to the coolest venue, is set up across the UK along with Dubai and Cape Town and the pair are keen to make their mark on Ibiza.
Digby explained how Ping Culture is bursting with around 15,000 venues and “fulfils the human need to explore”.
He ended: “Our mission is to basically help people connect with experiences and venues that tantalise their needs and their wants.”
