JOHN Lewis is teasing shoppers with a new trailer for its Christmas advert – and it's getting everyone in the festive spirit.
The ten-second teaser for its annual Xmas advert, shared on social media, shows a young boy asking his gran if he can have a box containing a seed for a "grow your own perfect Christmas tree."
Text which reads "John Lewis November 9" then flashes on the screen – hinting ad the ad's release.
It is shown alongside the hashtag #TraditionsGrow.
The retailer's ad is usually the most anticipated one and signals that Christmas is well and truly on its way.
It's known for it's heartwarming tales and tear-jerking moments, as well as its soundtrack, which has featured covers of classic tracks over the years.

Fans responded to the advert teaser and shared their excitement ahead of its release.
One YouTube user said: "You know it's Christmas when John Lewis has got a new advert on the way!"
While another said: "Okay, okay, now I'm very excited."
Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, one John Lewis fan said: "Love it! It's going to be a good one."

This isn't the first time that eagle-eyed fans have spotted hints and trailers for an incoming Christmas ad.
John Lewis tweaked its logo last year, and the year before, only days before the retailer revealed its festive advert.
This year's advert is the first to be made under Saatchi and Saatchi after John Lewis dumped its previous advertising partner, Adam&eveDDB, after 14 years.
When was the John Lewis ad released in previous years?
From the excitable Edgar the dragon to Monty the penguin, there's been a range of inventive adverts throughout the years.
Last year, the advert was released on November 10 and featured was called "The Beginner".
It explored the foster care system and sought to raise awareness of vulnerable children around the UK – set to a cover of Blink 182's All The Small Things by US singer Mike Geier.
In 2021, the ad was released earlier than ever -hitting screens on November 4.
It was called The Unexpected Guest, and it featured a teenage boy who meets an alien named Skye who has crash-landed on earth.
In comparison, in 2020, the advert first aired on Friday, November 13.
It was inspired by random acts of kindness during lockdown – in a nod to the Covid pandemic.
Its 2019 ad, which starred Edgar the dragon, was released on November 14.
This ad was the first joint effort with John Lewis' sister retailer Waitrose.
It followed the 2018 Elton John inspired advert, which aired on November 15 of that year.
It spanned the veteran singer's life and showed how a gift of a piano from his grandmother helped make him the international superstar he is today.
And both the 2017 Moz the Monster and 2016 Buster the Boxer adverts came out on November 10.
