KEEPING your bedroom tidy is an age old problem when we’re kids, but for some of us, managing the mess can be an issue into our adult years too.
However, most of us know better than broadcasting our slovenliness across the internet for all to see.
This wasn’t the case for Twitter user Alyssa, a young woman who knows how to preen herself to perfection for a night out – but not her boudoir.
Alyssa took to the social media network to share a selfie of herself looking stunningly dolled up before going to dinner.
She captioned the tweet: “Going to dinner because I needed an excuse to wear this”.
We guess she was perhaps hoping others would also appreciate her lovely sequinned dress and perfectly applied make-up – if only her bedroom had been so becoming.
The room seen behind Alyssa in the snap is in a complete mess, with the floor barely visible under all of the clothes and various rubbish strewn across it.
Fellow Twitter users were quick to call out Alyssa on the condition of her room – with one even screenshotting a section of the floor and claiming a rat was among the clutter.

Another wrote: “And after dinner, she'll be eating floor marshmallows for dessert”.
“Your room reminds me of I Spy”, another added.
The tweet had been retweeted over three thousand times since it was posted – with Alyssa not seeming to mind everyone knowing about her messy antics… why care when you look so good, eh?
