Thousands of households are due free money through cold weather payments.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is giving out the cash to support struggling Brits. Eligible households could get the cash into bank accounts within 14 days.

Cold weather payments are made in locations where residents experience continuous below-zero weather. The amount due is up to £25.
