Daniel Radcliffe and his longtime girlfriend, Erin Darke, are expecting their first child together, a rep for the “Harry Potter” star confirmed to multiple outlets over the weekend.
“Daniel is so excited to be a dad. His relationship with Erin is really special and everyone thinks they will be amazing parents,” an insider told The Sun following the happy news.
“They have kept it pretty quiet up until now but she can’t hide her bump anymore.”
Page Six has reached out to Radcliffe’s rep for comment.
The baby announcement comes shortly after Radcliffe, 33, made a rare appearance in New York City with his girlfriend of over a decade, 38.
Darke stepped out in a black zip-up hoodie, which highlighted her growing bump, in pics obtained by DailyMail.
The “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” actress completed the casual look with black leggings, a black-and-white peacoat and orange ankle boots.
She was photographed crossing the road beside the “Harry Potter” alum, who was dressed casually in a blue puffer jacket and a blue-and-yellow beanie.
The notoriously private couple, who started dating in 2012, made their last red carpet appearance together over a year ago.
Prior to that, they weren’t photographed on a red carpet together for more than eight years.
Radcliffe previously recounted the steamy story of how their relationship began on the set of the 2013 movie “Kill Your Darlings” — in which they have a sex scene.
“It’ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other,” he joked to People in April 2019. “Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting.”
The former Broadway actor also quipped that there was “no acting going on” while shooting the scene.
“Not from my end, anyway,” he told Playboy in October 2015.
“There’s a moment when she makes me laugh, and I’m laughing as me and not as my character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble.”
