In a shock turn of events on the Cobbles, fun-loving and popular character Emma Brooker will be admitted to hospital after being found unconscious by Gary Windass and Maria Connor.

Tomorrow, Corrie fans will see Emma isent home from work after feeling a pain in her side.
Emma’s condition is then misdiagnosed by Ali Neeson, who is still struggling with his addiction to drugs.
He is also coming to terms with his ex Maria Connor moving on with Gary Windass and the two are set to go on a date.
The doctor, who will appear to look very distracted, deems Emma to have a small bout of food poisoning, before sending her home to rest and recover.
Soon Emma finds out that rest and recovery was not the answer to her problem, when she falls unconscious on the floor of her flat.
Bad-boy Gary and Maria return from their date to the shocking image of Emma lying motionless on the floor.
Emma is then rushed to hospital where she discovers the nature of her condition.
It has been revealed that Emma will need emergency surgery to remove her ruptured appendix.
The hairdresser and bartender’s friends and family can only watch and wait to see how Emma recovers from such a major health scare.
Emma’s biological father Steve is absolutely fuming and despite Ali admitting that he misdiagnosed his daughter, Steve does not want to hear any excuses.
Whilst being held back by Gary Windass, Steve accuses Michelle’s son of medical negligence which has left his daughter seriously unwell.
