Catherine Tyldesley: Strictly Come Dancing 2019 star reveals favourite things about wedding
The English actress married PT Tom Pitfield three years ago in 2016.
Last week Tyldesley opened up to Hello! about her wedding and what she loved most about it.
She revealed to the magazine that there were two things in particular that made the day.
The actress explained she was impressed by the “scented candles and beautiful flowers”.
Tyldesley said: “The night before I was so excited that I could hardly sleep for thinking about it, and when I walked in, the sight before me blew me away.
“It was picture perfect. There were scented candles and beautiful flowers – and most importantly of all, there was Tom,” she said.”
Tyldesley wore two dresses for her wedding. She said “I Do” in a stunning bespoke gown by Liverpudlian designer Phillip Armstrong.
The gorgeous dress had lace detailing at the top, with an off-the-shoulder design.
It clung to her gorgeous curves and went out at the bottom with the lace train flowing behind her.
For the day, Catherine wore her hair in a half-up, half-down style.
The second dress was a stunning ivory gown by another Liverpool-based designer Mark Melia.
The halter neck number was cinched in at Catherine’s waist and accentuated her figure.
Delicate embellishments could also be seen around the neckline of the dress, adding a certain wow factor to the sophisticated dress.
The actress has previously spoken about how her weight as a child stopped her from dancing and has previously opened up about how she dropped five stone and six dress sizes.
In a typical day, the soap star revealed she would eat a three-egg omelette for breakfast, a chicken and avocado salad for lunch and homemade steak burgers with aubergine fries for dinner.
If she is still feeling peckish, Catherine will munch on blueberries, apples and coconut yoghurt.
The Strictly star also explained she likes to keep active and will fuel her workouts with prawns or tuna with broccoli and Brazil nuts.
