From Marks and Spencer to Tesco, we’ve rounded-up all the romantic options for a cosy night in.

Supermarket offers are likely to be popular this Valentine's as restaurants remain closed around the country due to Covid restrictions.

Meal deals from some grocers range from £15 to £20, with options including starters, main, sides, desserts, bottles of booze and chocolates.

But not all stores are doing set courses.

For example, some are doing “mix and match” Valentine’s deals where you only pay for the items you buy.

We’ve included all the major supermarkets apart from Lidl and Waitrose, as they’ve yet to release full details of their Valentine’s Day offers.

Valentine’s Day 2021 supermarket meal deals

HUNGRY for love? Here’s how much each supermarket is charging for their Valentine’s Day meal deals.

For some, there is a set price for starters, mains, sides, dessert, drinks and a box of chocolate.

But others are doing "mix and match" deals where you just pay for exactly what you want.

We're still waiting for Lidl and Waitrose to confirm their Valentine's Day meal deals and we'll update this article when we get this information through.

Aldi – £7.55 (Mix and match – cheapest combination)
Asda – £15 (One starter, one main, two sides, one dessert plus one drink or chocolates)

Aldi isn't doing a set meal deal price for its Valentine's Day offering, so you just pay for the items you want.

It means you don't save any money, but you could end up spending less if you don't want a lot of food.

As part of its Valentine's Day selection, Aldi is selling heart-shaped garlic bread, beef wellington, steak and lamb shanks.

For dessert, choose from mini pancakes, profiteroles or white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake.

For those wanting three courses, plus a side, the absolute cheapest price is £7.55.

This is if you go for the £1.69 chicken wing starter, followed by vegan "no beef" bouguignon pies for the main, priced at £1.69 for an individual pie, so £3.38 for two.

Pair the above with 99p heart-shaped garlic bread as your side, and the £1.49 mini pancakes for pudding, and your total would come to £7.55.

Or for a meaty main, the price goes up to £7.66 if you choose the duck, which usually costs £3.49 for two portions.

Asda's Valentine's Day deal consists of one starter, one main, two sides, one dessert plus a bottle of booze or chocolates for £15.

Options for starters include runny Scotch eggs and tempura prawns, followed by lamb shanks, pork loins or steak for your main.

The maximum saving at Asda is £5 if you go for the most expensive booze.

Each starter, side and dessert cost £2.50 each, while each main is priced at £7 usually – so this part of the deal would cost £17 normally.

Add on the priciest bottle of booze, the £8 bottle of cava rose, and your bill would normally be £25.

The deal takes this combination down to £20, so a maximum saving of £5.

Or if you’re avoiding alcohol, the meal deal price is £12 if you substitute the booze for a soft drink.

Options for the main include steak, salmon en croute and lasagne, while dessert could be chocolate and orange tortes, sticky toffee pudding or raspberry panna cotta.

We worked out the best saving you could make is £9.80 if you choose any £3.50 starter, £7 steak, £2.80 mashed potato, £3.50 chocolate tortes and the £8 Prosecco.

This combination of food would usually cost £24.80 – but you'll only pay £15 because of the meal deal.

If you're going non-alcoholic, the most you can save is £8.05 if you go for the options above and the £3.25 Coca-Cola instead of the Prosecco.

This would typically cost £20.05 – but the deal takes it down to £12.

The stand-out offer at Icelandis its "two for £6" on steak, with choices including Sirloin or Aberdeen Angus.

Iceland suggests pairing with onion rings and chips, both priced at £1 each, which would take your Valentine's Day meal for two to £8.

The steaks are usually priced at £3.65 each, so you're saving £1.30 with the offer.

Alternatively, you can go all out with a "Big Daddy" fillet or beef with a creamy peppercorn sauce, also for £8.

Or if you're not feeling meat, Iceland also has an offer on its Gino D'Acampo Italian range where you can pick up two mains and one dessert for £8.

As each product from the Gino range is usually £3, the normal amount for two mains and one dessert would be £9 – so you save £1 with this deal.

This year, the posh supermarket has introduced a "Love linguine" as one of its mains, which comes with 50cm-long pasta for "Lady in the Tramp" moments.

According to the supermarket, the most shoppers can save through the offer is an impressive £16.50.

This is if you go for a £6 starter, a £10 main, a £3 side, a £4 dessert, £12 bottle of booze and £1.50 box of chocolates.

It means for a starter, you could pick scallops or prawn cocktail, followed by steak or chicken kiev as a main, and mashed potato as a side.

As for pudding, the maximum saving could include churros with chocolate sauce and a choice of two of the proseccos. The chocolates are included as part of the deal.

Shoppers would usually pay £36.50 for this combination.

However, M&S hasn't revealed all the prices for each individual item yet – we'll update this article when it does.

But with this deal, you'll only save money if your meal would normally come to more than the £20 limit, otherwise you'll pay the standard price.

It means how much you save depends on the combination you choose.

Options include fancy food like oysters, steak and Gu desserts.

When we checked the individual product prices on the Sainsbury's website, the most you can save is £5.95 when purchasing the most expensive meal combination.

To get this saving, pair the £3.50 crab meat starter with the crusted cod and ratatouille, usually £10.

Then choose any side that costs £2.70, partnered with the £3.50 salted caramel Gu cheesecakes and £6.25 Prosecco.

The above items would normally cost you £25.95, but you'll only pay £20 because of the deal.

However, Sainsbury's hasn't got individual prices for all its item online so we've asked the supermarket for clarification on its best saving.
