Due to popular demand for its model Cup Noodle released afew months back, Nissin is bringing back the model in golden form. Celebrating Momofuku Ando’s invention in 1971, this new “Golden” edition will mark Cup Noodle’s 50th anniversary in 2021.

Not for sale, the 1:1-scale model is for giveaway only to fans of the instant snack that are currently following the brand on Twitter. Under the BEST HIT CHRONICLE series of nostalgic pop-cultural items from Bandai SPIRITS, the snap-together model can be assembled in under five minutes when removed from its sprue. Those looking to try their luck at getting 1-of-50 of these can head over to Nissin Foods now, where the contest is only available to those residing in Japan.
