ADD some sparkle to your living room on the cheap thanks to a glitter lava lamp on sale at Asda.

A shopper in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group has spotted the mesmerising light up for grabs at the supermarket for just £4.25 – bargain!

The lights have already sold out online, but they usually cost £17 so you know you're getting a good deal.

Asda hasn't yet told us whether the offer is available in all of its stores, so in the meantime you can give your local store a ring or pop by to see whether you can get it yourself.

The shopper told The Sun she spotted the lamps in Asda Living in Anlaby Retail Park, Hull.

To really add some colour your home, the lava lamp is filled with multi-coloured glitter and sits on a golden aluminium base. It has the height of 36.83cm.

The lamp first launched as part of Asda's retro homeware range last year.

If you miss the boat at the supermarket, John Lewis sells a similar version for a much pricier £29.

Or you can get a more basic version from Clas Ohlson for £9.99.

If you're after the cheapest possible option, you should take a look at eBay as its prices start from £4.54 for a lamp that changes colours.

Asda is also selling UNICORN solar-powered lights for your garden.

Or you can pick up multi-coloured fairy lights featuring the same mythical creature.

While B&M is selling a light-up bubble lamp with built-in bluetooth speaker for a bargain price.
