Exactly 50 years ago, the “Jesus Christ Superstar” album rocketed Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice to superstar heaven. The stage show came later.

Last week, his lordship Andrew released a taste of his newest musical “Cinderella.” Again, before it opens in London then on Broadway.

Eager fans got a first listen of the single “Bad Cinderella” — album out in May. He’s been locked in recording studios for months working on this.

It’ll make a star out of discovery Carrie Hope Fletcher.

We’ll be waiting

Everybody’s doing everything, although nobody’s seeing nothing. Schmidt happens

Eric Schmidt, big-time Google guy, worth a few farthings this side of $14 billion, is unloading his Water Mill, LI, home. Six bedrooms, 6,150 square feet, indoor pool, Mecox Bay waterfront. Wants $9.5 million — give or take an IOU. Eric — once listed as the world’s 138th richest — is finding it hard to unload the place. The house has eight bathrooms, so maybe it’s the CV toilet paper problem?

Showing up for a friend

Colin Jost, 38, who just married Scarlett Johansson, 35, was best man for Christopher Reisig over a decade ago. Both attended the UES’ Regis High (Dr. Anthony Fauci’s alma mater). Men’s Health named CV first responder Chris — now emergency medicine chief resident at New York-Presbyterian — a hero. He’s also on Regis’ Wikipedia page under “notable alumni.” Was he at the Scarlett/Colin wedding? Yes. Returning the favor of serving as best man? Not confirmed.

Honor our vets

Variety’s special honoring veterans and service members airs Veterans Day, Nov. 11, on the History Channel. Presenters include Trace Adkins, Kevin Bacon, Bryan Cranston — who’ll present the USO segment — Morgan Freeman, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kellie Pickler, Kelly Ripa, Shaggy, Gary Sinise, Wilmer Valderrama. It’s at 10 p.m., so — support our vets. Watch. Then, say a prayer for our city. Even His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan, out for an afternoon appointment six blocks from his residence, came by car and said: “People don’t feel safe walking the streets.”

Court’s in session

1789, George Washington, staffing the federal judiciary, believing the Constitution paramount, wanted only loyal Federalists. 1801, President John Adams filled circuit courts under the Judiciary Act. Criterion? Membership in the Federalist Party. Otherwise, per our founders, no possible appointment as a Supreme. Then, we became Republicans and Democrats and a prez appointment somehow always meant justices who were members of his own party. So enough with “politicizing the courts.” . . . More about our founders. 2018, a White House employee, critical of our president, wrote an anonymous op-ed piece. The Times published this “leak.” Mainstream media repeated the words of this unnamed low-level worker. But when a named source presents evidence of Biden family corruption, which could create ongoing issues, only The Post and Fox first carried the story. Have we torpedoed the First Amendment?
