The Royal Family spent an emotional day at Balmoral Castle viewing the flowers left by well-wishers for the late Queen Elizabeth II. The late monarch sadly died on September 8 at the age of 96, meaning King Charles III is now the sovereign. Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall were two such royals who emotionally viewed the flowers and thanked members of the public for paying their respects.
What did the two royal cousins wear?
Zara wore a Holland Cooper Clothing Regency Coat in Soft Black.
The coat costs £599, and looked very elegant on the 41-year-old royal.
She paired the coat with Aquazzura Forever Marilyn 85mm Black Suede Pumps.
These shoes are sadly sold out so it is unclear how much they cost.
The description on the website says: “These black Aquazzura Forever Marilyn 85 suede pumps are crafted in Italy and feature pointed toes, teardrop cutouts, leather linings and 85 mm heels.
“Aquazzura means ‘blue water’ in Italian, which makes sense because we’re swimming in the River of No Return with these Aquazzura pumps.”
Zara’s cousin Princess Beatrice, 34, made a very similar style choice on Saturday, showing her close bond with her older cousin.
Princess Beatrice also wore a pair of Aquazzura pumps.
She opted for the Perfect Kiss 105 Black Suede Pumps, which would set royal fans back £285.
Beatrice also wore a Maje Paris Belted Tweed-Style Coat.
This Tweed Tie Waist Jacket cost £268 at the time of purchase, however it is no longer in stock.
Beatrice and Zara are known to have a close bond as cousins.
For Beatrice’s birthday last month, her older sister Princess Eugenie posted multiple pictures on her Instagram to celebrate.
One of the pictures featured Beatrice and Zara posing together during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.
The royal cousins made pouting facial expressions together as they joined in Eugenie’s selfie.
The pair attended Royal Ascot multiple times together in the year 2022 as well.
Zara and Beatrice were always seen hugging and kissing each other on the cheek, displaying their strong bond.
On Saturday, the duo comforted each other as they mourned their late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
