IF YOU love slipping on a summer dress but hate the inevitable sore skin that bare legs in a heatwave can bring, there may be an easy solution.
Two women have created the world's first anti-chafing tape to prevent unpleasant friction caused by skin on skin, or skin on fabric – ideal for when the temperatures rise.
Mary Tatar, 40, and Jenna Wakley, 32, from Sydney in Australia, launched their ChubRub Tape last month and already have shoppers raving about the clever product.
All you need to do is cut the tape to the required length and place on the potentially-affected area.
They said it was "designed to act as a barrier and prevent that friction which causes pain, irritation and redness".
The founders – who came up with their genius concept during a conversation about chafing – added that they have deliberately created it to be "discreet, non-restricting, comfortable, long-lasting and kind to your skin".
It is currently available in three different colours – ivory, nude and chocolate.
Each roll costs approximately £10, with international shipping to the UK around £14.
While it can be used anywhere on the body, the main place shoppers are enlisting it for is between their thighs.
It is painless to remove, although they recommend adding a little bit of coconut oil to the tape and peeling it off slowly.
The tape has gone down well with shoppers, with one testimonial reading: "Such a great product."
Another shared: "Absolutely swear by this tape! I love how light it feels on the skin."
A third left feedback noting: "Amazing! It has no smell, doesn't feel sweaty and is comfortable to wear.
"I honestly couldn't feel it at all."
