CHRISTMAS is coming, and it’s time for me to wave my magic wand and sprinkle a bit of glamour on three truly inspirational ladies.

I’ve joined forces with F&F at Tesco to help them look and feel great for those special occasions.

‘I want to surprise my friends at our Christmas lunch date’

Lisa, 50, size 10, 5ft:

“I have been completely blind for six years but partially sighted since birth, due to a genetic disorder called Senior-Loken syndrome.

I’ve had a guide dog since I was 18. Henry is my sixth and has been with me for three years now. However, he can’t exactly help me choose clothes!
When I go shopping, I always have to take a friend to describe to me what I’m trying on and ultimately help me pick, so having a style expert like Tracey on hand has been great!

I’m now party-ready for a glam Christmas lunch with my girlfriends, wearing something that they haven’t had to help me choose.”

Tracey says:

“It’s hard to imagine what it must be like to rely on other people to pick your clothes, because taste is so personal.

But it was great describing in detail to Lisa what she was trying on. She is quite petite, so this just-past-the-knee shirt dress, which nips her in at the waist, is perfect.

It would look great with low courts and a big tote bag for work, as well as being super-sophisticated for Lisa’s lunch out with the girls!”

‘Help me ditch the jeans for the work party!’

Frankie, 33, size 8, 5ft 8in:

“I was diagnosed with Von Hippel-Lindau disease at 15. It means my body’s prone to growing tumours and I’ve been battling benign growths ever since.

Then, in 2016, my husband Dean, 34, was diagnosed with an inoperable tumour in his optic nerve.

Thankfully he’s OK now, as the tumour stabilised after radiotherapy, and seven months ago we had a beautiful baby boy, Matthew.

I can’t remember the last time I went out, so I’m looking forward to the work Christmas party. It was such a lovely experience to get a makeover and sparkle in front of the camera.

I’m more of a jeans-and-a-top kind of girl, but I love this sequin dress. I feel really special in it. I can’t wait for the party now!”

Tracey says:

“Frankie’s been through so much, so I wanted her to feel pampered for her big night out.

She’s also a new mum, so this felt extra special, as it’s their first Christmas as a family. Sequins always make you feel glam and this shimmering silver dress looks fantastic on her.

She has such great legs, I find it hard to believe she lives in jeans! Wrap dresses are super-flattering and work if you have a big or small bust.

The side tie gives Frankie’s waist a great shape and the soft silver works well with her pale skin tone.

Remember, sequins aren’t just for Christmas – this dress will look great for a night out on summer holidays with a pair of strappy sandals, too.”

‘‘I plan to go all out to celebrate my amazing kids on Christmas day’’

Charlotte 35, size 12, 5ft 8in:

“After my son Chayce, nine, was diagnosed with ADHD, autism and developmental coordination disorder in 2015, I realised that my whole life, I had been dealing with some of the same issues he had.

I contacted my doctor in 2019 and was also eventually diagnosed with autism – which helped me make sense of a lot of things.

I was pregnant with my daughter Remii, now four, at
the time. She was also diagnosed with autism at the age of two.

I am really looking forward to Christmas this year because of the amazing progress my children have made.

Every year, they have a better understanding, which means they get more excited. I want to go all-out on Christmas Day, so this two-piece does just the job!”

Tracey says:

“Charlotte was such an inspiration to work with.

I am a big fan of her Instagram, where she is open, honest and authentic about living with autism.

This F&F cocktail co-ord ticks her Christmas Day outfit box
perfectly.

Plus, wear the top with a pair of jeans for a night out and the trousers with a soft, sparkly knit for a dressed-down feel on NYE – and that’s December sorted!”
