From jeans and crop tops to Old Hollywood-inspired glam gowns, RiRi is a chameleon on the carpet — though she brings a laid-back island-vibe to everything she wears. Oh, and she’s also not afraid to show some skin. We can always count on the Grammy winner for a bold nearly naked look, which has included everything from a Jean Paul Gaultier illusion gown at the 2011 Grammys to completely sheer Adam Selman design at the 2014 CFDA Awards, where she was — surprise, surprise — presented with the Fashion Icon Award.

But Rihanna’s trendsetting style transcends fashion. In addition to experimenting with a rainbow of hair colors (remember those fire engine red lob days?), she quite literally revolutionized the cosmetics industry with the launch of Fenty Beauty in September 2017. She put other brands on blast when she debuted 40 (!) foundation shades, and she subsequently upped the bar even further when she introduced 50 concealer hues in January.

In 2018, she teamed with TechStyle Fashion Group to launch an inclusive lingerie line called Savage x Fenty. And because the woman apparently never sleeps, she also launched an “elevated” and “upscale” ready-to-wear collection with LVMH that will still manage to stay true to her signature “cool girl” roots.
