SELF SERVICE tills are great if you've only got a few things to buy and don't fancy queuing for ages.

But if you've ever paid with change you probably already know how annoying it can be to insert the coins one by one.

Let's face it – if you're using those tills you're probably in a rush and don't have time to waste.

Well it turns out there's a simple way to skip all that fuss and Tesco shoppers can't believe they didn't already know the clever hack.

TikToker Becky Midgley left viewers stunned when she revealed how she whizzes through the self service tills.

It turns out there's a hidden compartment behind the coin slot where you can dump your change.

Another TikTok user recently shared a clip of them doing the same thing on the self service tills in Sainsbury's.

They just lifted the flap with the coin slot and funnelled in all their loose change – it's that simple.

Asda shoppers have even been raving about the hack as one woman discovered the same thing.

They were amazed that they didn't already know about the handy trick.

One said: "It's better than standing there like loading a parking meter."

But not everyone was convinced as one user pointed out: "It still processes the coins at the same speed… no time saved here."

But the savvy shopped hit back: "Saved time from putting in one coin at a time!"
