A SIZE 26 woman with 42H boobs who once gorged on 100 packets of crisps a month has shed nearly nine stone – without stepping foot in a gym.

Tina Cotton, now 45, used to tip the scale at 19 stone, eat at least three packets of cheese and onion crisps-a-day and was warned her weight could be to blame for three miscarriages.

But in January 2017 the mum-of-three, from Tamworth, Staffs, made a vow to ditch the crisps for a calorie-controlled diet.

She started walking in an attempt to shift the pounds and is now a slim size 10, weighing 10st 5lb.

The school cook told Fabulous Digital: "I don’t eat any crisps at all now, I can’t believe I used to put away so many.

"I’d have at least three packs a day. I was a comfort eater, I’d eat until I felt sick most days.

"After I lost my three babies I just couldn’t cope with the fact I wasn’t going to be a mum again. I felt sad all the time and wasn’t taking care of myself at all.

"Now I have a balanced diet, I do traditional calorie-counting, I find it works better than any of these groups that people are obsessed about.

"I also make sure I walk at least 16,000 steps-a-day, even managing 30,000 some days. I do get quite obsessive about it but it’s such good exercise."

Twice-divorced Tina decided she wanted more kids after marrying David, 48, in 2006.

The pair fell pregnant with their first child together in 2009, nine-year-old Isabella-Rae.

David and Tina continued trying for kids, but heartbreakingly suffered three miscarriages in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

By then morbidly obese, she admitted: "I was desperate to get pregnant and have another baby – it totally ruled my life.

"The more stressed I got, the more I ate, it was a vicious circle.

"All I would think about was my ovulation cycle, and which exact days to have sex on- it got very clinical.

"I was spending all my money on pregnancy tests, it was all I thought about, it wasn’t healthy at all."

After two years of eating her feelings, and her GP explaining her weight may have caused the miscarriages, Tina decided to stop trying for a baby "for her own sanity".

In December 2016, she made a vow to slim down – and shed an impressive six stone in her first year of dieting.

Tina said: "I had been trying little diets here and there but none of it stuck.

"I just couldn’t keep it up and would be back to my old ways comfort eating and shoving junk food into me.

"Just before Christmas I realised that something had to give.

"I had nothing to wear for Christmas Day and was too embarrassed to go shopping for size 26 stuff in the shops.

"Thankfully what I’d ordered online did fit in the end but I realised it was no way to live.

"I started my diet on January 2 and applied everything I’d already learned from my previous failed attempts.

"I also cut out alcohol which helped massively.

"Because I was so big to start with, when the weight came off it was really noticeable and I felt amazing – that really gave me a kick start to carry on.

"My husband wasn’t too happy at first with all the new healthy meals I was making us so I just ended up cooking two dinners.

"He stuck to his pies and mash while I was chomping away on salads and grilled chicken.

"But he’s always been super supportive – I couldn’t have done it without him."

Tina joined Facebook and Instagram groups for support and has also seen her boobs shrink from a 42H to a 34D.

She said: "It’s taken a literal weight off my shoulders, although they are now quite saggy.

"I’m saving up for a boob job to get them perkier.

"Some of my mates are even telling me not to lose anymore weight but I’m not really planning to, as I’m at my ideal weight now.

"It’s an amazing feeling, I honestly never thought I’d get here.

"Walking as much as I can and watching what I eat has been the key for me, once you’ve got the motivation you can achieve anything.

"I was so sad after losing my three babies but I’ve got a new lease of life now and I love watching my kids grow up into amazing people.

"I really am very lucky. One thing I do know, is that I’ll never touch a packet of cheese and onion crisps again!"

While this age-defying mum says there’s NO excuse to be fat – all women can look like her at 40.
