SHOPPERS are snapping up bargains from Argos after the store slashed the price of hundreds of toys. 

The chain has launched a massive sale, with dozens of toys and games now half price – with some items just £1.75. 

People are flocking to the website to bag themselves a deal, with parents stocking up for Christmas and birthday presents. 

And for anyone wanting to get their hands on some bargains, head over to the website’s clearance section – rather their sale – to get the biggest discounts. 

Happy shoppers have been sharing their hauls on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, where hundreds of people have commented on their incredible purchases. 

After getting their hands on some Toy Story characters, one gran said: “Argos reduced from £23.00 to £13.00 each.

“Ordered at 11.30am yesterday, delivered 4.5 hours later.

“Two happy granddaughters.”

This mum raved: “Great buys in Argos massive rainbocorns big box surprise £22.50 from £50 I got it it for £20.25 with hubby discount and car transporter £5 I actually got it for 50p because we had a £4 gift voucher and got discount.

“Put away for Xmas for the grandchildren happy shopping for me.”

A third uploaded a photo of the LOL Surprise glamper van they got, writing: “Down from £100 to £50 in Argos … will have one happy grand daughter at Xmas… I NEVER get bargains

“As a lady kindly pointed out if your local Argos isn’t open yet keep checking as it only shows in stock if they are open.”

Sharing a snap of some LOL Surprise furniture, this woman wrote: “Just ordered this in Argos clearance. Cheaper than anywhere I have seen £7.50.”

Hundreds of people have liked the various social media posts, desperate to get their hands on some discounted goodies. 

One person said: “What an amazing bargain.

"We paid full price at Xmas but it’s well played with. We love ours.”

Another wrote: “I managed to get one also ,great bargain ain’t it.”

A third commented: “Thank-you for posting this! Just managed to get one for my daughter's birthday in August.”

While someone else asked: “Dare I say it….for Christmas?!?!”
