PRINCE Harry appears to have torn into the Royal Family yet again in a thinly veiled dig about mental health "shame".

His latest "truth bomb" came in a new episode of his mental health documentary The Me You Can't See that aired on Apple TV yesterday.

In it Harry says he "loves to see" when families "thrive" by discussing mental health – just days after brutally blasting the Queen and Prince Charles for meeting his own mental health struggles with a wall of silence.

Speaking to Fatal Attraction star Glenn Close, 74, about her sister's suicidal struggles, Harry says: "To see behind closed doors, the realities of a family struggling – but not just struggling, thriving because of that family connection… For me that's the overwhelming positive of it.

"You as a family have had your fair amount of struggles – but what I see from this story that you've told and the experiences that you've been through, it has brought you so much closer together as a family – and I love to see that."

DIANA INTERVIEW SCANDAL FORCES REWRITE OF THE CROWN

The Martin Bashir scandal has forced the creators of The Crown to rewrite large sections of series five, ahead of filming next month.

The new season pivots on Princess Diana’s bombshell Panorama interview in 1995, which was secured by the disgraced BBC reporter using faked documents.

A TV insider said: "This has caused a major headache for the creators as the events before and after the interview formed the basis of so much of The Crown’s storyline.

"Although the writers constantly redraft scripts before and during filming, this provides them with a challenge on another level.

"Especially as they have to be poised to respond should any further revelations emerge in the coming weeks or months. If they do, then they may have to amend the scripts even further."

HARRY HAS BEEN WORKING WITH OPRAH FOR TWO YEARS

Oprah Winfrey sensationally revealed she has been working with Prince Harry for two years – before he quit the Royal Family.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, and US chat show powerhouse teamed up for mental health documentary The Me You Can't See.

In a bonus episode aired on Apple TV overnight, Oprah admitted the pair have been working together before Megxit even happened last year.

She said: "It's a project that we were inspired to produce after we first met, really, and talked about some of the most pressing issues of our time.

"So we spent two years making this series…together. Yes, I remember that chat very, very well all that time ago."

    UNRAVELLING ROYAL

Prince Harry's relationship with the Palace is "hanging by a thread" – after the Queen was left "gobsmacked" by his latest revelations, a source has claimed.

The monarch was reportedly told Harry's new documentary, The Me You Can't See, was going to cover soldiers' mental health.

However, in the Apple TV show – which aired on Friday – the Duke of Sussex instead launched a series of "personal attacks" on his family.

The show left his father and grandmother "absolutely gobsmacked" – and his relationship with the royals may now be over, the source claimed.

A source close to Buckingham Palace told the Daily Mail: "It is a question of trust, and honestly any of that is hanging by a thread at the moment. No one within the Palace circles has anything but sympathy for Harry's trauma and troubled life, but there is upset and discomfort at him sharing it on an international television show."

    ‘LOVE TO SEE FAMILIES THRIVE’

Speaking on a new documentary episode, Prince Harry said he “loves to see” when families “thrive” as they discuss mental health – after describing how he was met with silence by the royals.

Meghan, 39, revealed earlier this year her mental health suffered while she was living in the UK and that she was not given the help she needed when she felt suicidal.

Harry revealed how the “scariest” thing was his wife’s “clarity of thought” when she told him the “practicalities of how she was going to end her life”.

He said: “She was absolutely sober. She was completely sane. Yet in the quiet of night, these thoughts woke her up.

“I’m somewhat ashamed of the way that I dealt with them.”

KATE AND WILLS MEET GORDON BROWN

Kate and William met with Gordon Brown, who has recently launched a renewed campaign to save the Union, during the final day of their royal tour of Scotland.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat down for talks with the former prime minister and his wife Sarah at the Queen's official Edinburgh residence.

The future king later gave a highly personal farewell speech as his week-long visit drew to a close, describing how Scotland has "shaped" him and praising its people and values.

William said Scotland was "so important" to himself and wife Kate as he recounted their experiences meeting a range of inspirational people from spritely pensioners, selfless NHS workers and committed charity volunteers over the past week.

The argument over Scottish independence has intensified after the Scottish National Party's landslide victory in the Holyrood election earlier in May.

'MEGHAN HAS SAME SPIRIT & COURAGE AS DIANA'

Meghan Markle shares the same "spirit" and "courage" as her famous mother-in-law, according to Princess Diana's voice coach.

Stewart Pearce, a close confidant of Diana in her final years, feels the Duchess of Sussex's recent bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview – filled with revelations about her royal experience – mirrors Diana's now infamous sit down with Martin Bashir.

He said: “There is a vibrational difference, but the point is that the courage, the sensitivity that it took to come forth with those revelations was outstanding and I felt that what Meghan was actually living through was the spirit of revelation, the spirit of transparency that Diana was trying to achieve."

PRINCE HARRY SPEAKS OUT ON NEW DOC EPISODE

Harry has revealed how “listening” helped Meghan in her suicide battle as he urged: “You’re not alone”.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, opened up for a second time over his wife’s mental health struggles in a new episode of The Me You Can’t See with Oprah Winfrey.

Harry said in the latest show: “So many people are afraid of being on the receiving end of that conversation [from a suicidal person] because they don’t feel like they have the right tools to give the right advice.

“But what you want to say is ‘You’re there’. Listen, because listening and being part of that conversation is without doubt the best first step that you can take.”

The comments were made in the latest episode of his bombshell mental health documentary The Me You Can’t See that aired on Apple TV overnight.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were said to be "regulars" at the chippy when they studied at St Andrews University.

They popped in to say hello and staff and ate their haddock and chips on a bench by the harbour before returning for ice cream.

A post on the Anstruther Fish Bar Facebook page read: "We can hardly believe it’s almost 20 years since we last had the honour of frying up some Scottish haddock and chips for, our then regular customers, Prince William and Catherine Middleton, while they were students at St Andrews University."

"So many people are afraid of being on the receiving end of that conversation," Harry said about a loved one who may be considering hurting themselves, "because they don't feel like they have the right tools to give the right advice.

"But what you [want] to say is 'You're there.' Listen, because listening and being part of that conversation is without doubt the best first step that you can take."

Harry and Oprah both agreed on the importance of letting someone who is struggling know, "You're not alone."

SARAH FERGUSON MAKES PLEA TO SCRAP PLAN TO BUILD 'MASSIVE' AMAZON WAREHOUSE

The Duchess of York gave an impassioned plea to scrap controversial plans to build a "massive" Amazon warehouse – because historic trees she adored as a child will be felled.

Sarah Ferguson said she was "absolutely horrified" to discover that dozens of 130 year old trees in an ancient woodland corridor will be destroyed to make way for the enormous warehouse.

Under new proposals which already have the green light, a beautiful part of the Hampshire countryside will be "brutally chopped down" for a 220,000 square metres, 23.5 metre-tall distribution hub thought to be used by online giants Amazon.

The area affected by the plans is the village of Dummer – which is where 61-year-old Duchess of York "Fergie" grew up on a farm and taught to love trees by her father, Ronald Ferguson.

CHARLES PULLS A PINT IN PRINCE OF WALES PUB

The Prince of Wales pulled a pint behind the bar of his namesake pub as he and the Duchess of Cornwall visited businesses recently reopened after lockdown.

Charles poured himself a glass of Sambrook's bitter at the Prince of Wales pub in the Old Town area of Clapham in south London and pulled up his face mask to enjoy a sip.

The heir to the throne and Camilla admired the eclectic decorations inside the pub, pointing out a Toby jug of the Duke of Edinburgh, which the landlord did not realise he had among his collection.

PRINCE HARRY SHARES MOMENT WITH ROBIN WILLIAMS' SON ZAK

Zak Williams, whose father Robin Williams tragically died by suicide in 2014, spoke to Prince Harry and Glenn Close – who shared her own family's experiences – about grieving publicly versus privately.

"I had trouble differentiating that grieving process at first and it was really challenging for me," Williams said. "I found myself extremely emotionally dis-regulated and feeling vulnerable and exposed when I wasn't ready to be vulnerable."

Harry also spoke about having to grieve the loss of a parent in front of the world.

"I think we have a lot of shared experience … when you see so many people around the world grieving for someone they feel as though they knew them better than you did because you're unable to grieve yourself," the prince said.

Throughout the series, Harry spoke in-depth about how not being able to properly mourn his mother Princess Diana after she died in a car crash in 1997 led to his own mental health struggles.

PRINCE WILLIAM UPSET OVER HARRY’S OUTBURST

Prince William “cannot comprehend” how Prince Harry has publicly attacked their family.

“William feels that Harry should discuss his issues privately and can’t comprehend why he continues to shade his own flesh and blood on TV,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Of course, mental health is a serious issue, but William can’t get his head around why Harry keeps throwing his family under the bus.”

PRITI PATEL SLAMS BBC FOR DIANA INTERVIEW

Priti Patel has slammed the BBC and refused to rule out criminal prosecutions over its 1995 interview with Princess Diana.

The Home Secretary warned the corporation’s reputation has been damaged following Lord Dyson’s report into Martin Bashir’s “deceitful behaviour” to secure the interview.

Ms Patel added that the mid-term review of the BBC would be a “very, very significant moment” for the corporation – where “lessons have to be learned”.

She told Sky News’s Trevor Phillips: “If there is subsequent action that needs to be taken, then clearly – alongside the publication of this report and lessons being learned and changes, changes to the institution, structure, governance, accountability – then that will follow.”

The Home Secretary added: “The BBC itself – one of our great institutions – its reputation has been compromised.”

PRINCE CHARLES SAID TO BE ‘HURT AT BEING MADE OUT TO BE A VILLAIN’

Sources close to Prince Charles, 72, say he is hurt over being made the villain.

A royal source said: “Father-and-son relations are at their lowest-ever point.

“Harry says he wants reconciliation, but has clearly decided to vilify his father. Charles is just at a loss about what to do.

“Harry doesn’t seem to take into account that parenting styles have radically changed over recent years, especially the role a father plays.”

During the Sussexes’ conversation with Oprah, the couple made a series of shocking allegations – most damaging of all that an unnamed member of the Royal Family had made a racist comment about the colour of son Archie’s skin.

PRINCE HARRY TELLS GLENN CLOSE ABOUT "SHAME" HE FELT

In tonight's episode of the Apple TV+ docuseries The Me You Can’t See, Prince Harry spoke with actress Glenn Close about the "shame" felt experienced when trying to talk about mental health with his family.

Tonight's episode, dubbed The Path Forward, has been dubbed by Apple as a taking the form of a town hall where past interviewees, like Close and Harry, speak about their experiences.

For Harry, he said there was a "shame" attached to speaking with his family.

"As parents, as siblings, certainly from what I've learned – there's an element of shame we feel, because we're like: 'How could we not have seen it?'"

"'How did we not know? How did you not feel comfortable enough to come to me and share that with me?'"

"But we all know, when people are suffering and people are struggling, that we're all incredibly good at covering it up for those that know that we're covering it up."

"And then you've got the others of us who just aren't aware of how bad things actually are."

The episode comes just a week after Harry made bombshell news about his mental health wellbeing following the death of Princess Diana.

Apple TV+ said the episode is akin to a virtual town hall, which would feature cameos from those interviewed in the series, including Glenn Close among other contributors like singer Lady Gaga, Syrian refugee Fawzi, and DeMar DeRozan of the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs.
