IT'S that time of year when people are stocking up on presents to put away for Christmas.

So one shopper was understandably delighted when she spotted jewellery for as little as 25p in her local Superdrug.

Melissa took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her find, writing: "Cheap costume jewellery in Superdrug Great Yarmouth.

"25p onwards!"

She also shared pictures of the rails of jewellery, showing a sterling silver necklace for just 50p, and multipacks of earrings for 35p.

And others were quick to thank Melissa for the tip in the comments section.

"Wonder if this is all over, thank you," one wrote.

"Maybe check ours, good for girls for Xmas," another added, tagging their friend.

"We can go tomorrow to look," a third commented, again alerting their pal to the bargain.

And it seems the reduced jewellery is only in store, as someone else commented: "Just looked on line and they didn’t have any reduced".

Other than their current deal of buy one get second half price, the jewellery is still full price online.

Lots of the items on offer are from the Studio Jewellery range, which "brings a selection of edgy to glamorous pieces, exclusive to Superdrug," according to the website.

"On-trend fashion prints and textures that lend themselves to statement necklaces, rings, dazzling hoops and drop earrings to create an eye-catching look."

Full price items include a £9.99 gorgeous gold bee pendant, which is similar in style to the Alex Monroe classic necklace.

And those who'd bought the pendant offered their gushing reviews on the Superdrug website.

"I've been wearing it for two weeks now and still shiny. Very nice quality," one wrote.

"Brought this on sale and I love it, I can't wait to wear," another added.

As a third commented: "I'd wanted a bee necklace for ages but hadn't found one that I liked; imagine my surprise when, shopping for facial products, I saw the ideal bee on the Superdrug website!
