PEOPLE are saying their minds are being blown after realising what the Vans logo looks like.

Many shoppers can recognise the brand’s design, which spells out Vans with the V’s line extending across the top of the other letters.


People are pointing out that the logo looks like something you’d solve in maths.

One fan wrote: “I just realised that the Vans logo is really just you typing in your calculator, ‘square root answer’.”

So, on a calculator this would appear as “√ANS”.

Responding to the discovery, one baffled fan wrote: “Once you see it, you can't unsee it.”

While people are saying they’ll never look at the logo in the same way, it turns out there isn’t actually an intentional link to maths.

According to the Logo My Way blog, the famous Vans logo was made shortly after the company was created in 1966.

It was thought up by founder James Van Doren’s son, who had intended to paint it on a skateboard.

However, when James saw the design, he used it for the company's shoe designs.

The company is now a leader in the manufacturing of skateboarding footwear.
