SHE might be a working mum-of-two, a brand ambassador and a full-time influencer with multiple book deals, but Mrs Hinch proves her love for bargains will never fade.

The 31-year-old recently shopped up a storm at the budget-friendly furniture store Ikea and transformed her bargain buys into designer-esque pieces for pennies.

"Ok so I have a little idea in mind on what I'd like to do with my two Ikea purchases," the cleaning guru revealed in her Instagram Stories.

Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, bought a mini plastic white stool just £4, with a matching mini coffee table for £19 and spruced them up to match her dreamy home decor.

The best part is that anyone can do it too and it only takes minutes to do.

After assembling each, she gave them both a coat of paint in her favourite colour which matched her home decor perfectly.

"I am loving the look of this 'Dark Hessian' range and I love this make of spray paint. I've used it a lot," she said of the PlastiKote chalk paint, which can be picked up for roughly £8 at Wickes.

"It's good paint, I've used it a lot. Let's see how they turn out and I'll show you what I've got in mind."

To take it a step further, the design queen glued her own HINCH rattan place mat to the top of the stool given it a super chic finish – and you'd never believe it was the same cheap buy.

The matching table got a similar make over too, but Sophie used a rattan tray which she simply placed on its surface instead.

"Sometimes it's so hard to find a mini side table to not only move around the house easily but also fit into smaller placed AND that matches the colour palette," she admitted.

And raved: "With a bit of spay paint and styling, we're done".

Showing off the end results, she wrote: "Not bad for a £4 Ikea stool. You can spray paint the frame to match your own decor of course and my Hinch place mat is £3."

And of the finished side table, she wrote: "I've always wanted a tray table in my own colour palette so I'm over the moon with this one (it's the Gladom Ikea table £19) and my Hinch tray fits perfect too."

The DIY and cleaning fan showed the two items used separately in her living room, but also displayed them together with the stool tucked away underneath the table.
