Kim Shui’s fall collection displayed vibrant, escapist fashions inspired by “that island trip she didn’t go on.”

New takes on sexy little mesh and velvet dresses and sets with intriguing cutout and crisscross tie details (a signature for the brand and potential nod to vacation swimwear) contrasted more modest, slinky silks coolly. Throughout the collection, a vibrant palette uplifted Shui’s designs, mixing florals (abstract and straightforward), bleeding tie-dyes and graphic swirls of color into an overall, eye-catching and playful collection.
