Following his last session on Twitter where he shared inspirations, works in progress and unreleased YEEZY footwear designs, Kanye West recently went on another spree of tweets. Spread out over a few hours, ‘Ye posted another array of images accompanied by brief musings that highlight the weight of each image.
After showing his interest in Vision Street Wear‘s signature design, Kanye West looks to have repurposed the logo motif with his self-coined phrase “KANYE 2020 VISION.” The controversial creative then sent a direct tweet to Walter Van Beirendonck in response to the designer’s recent criticism of longtime friend Virgil Abloh.
Calling out Instagram account Diet Prada in the process, ‘Ye then went on to note the similarities between African Cubism and the works of Pablo Picasso. Without skipping a beat, the next few tweets outline rough designs for waterproof bags for his YEEZY label. Followed by an adidas YEEZY prototype, that looks to build on the look of the YEEZY Foam Runner with a high-top tooling. Finishing up the spree of tweets, Kanye once again showed his reverence for contemporary artist James Turrell.
