I went to the worst rated makeup artist - she used a filthy sponge on my face and almost paralysed me, it was horrific

A WOMAN has revealed that she went to the worst reviewed makeup artist for poor hygiene and was left totally horrified.

Not only did the makeup artist sneeze and then continue with Julia Guesmia’s makeup, but she used a dirty sponge, a brush that had fallen on the floor, and almost gave her whiplash.

Julia took to social media to document the experience, as she explained: “Artist has the worst hygiene standards ever.

“Poor hygiene standards from the brush that fell on the floor to the disgusting old beauty blender.

“Pray for my skin.”

The clip started as we saw the makeup artist apply moisturiser to Julia’s face.

Julia added: “I’m just praying that that brush wasn’t the brush that fell two seconds ago, because that would be really unfortunate for whatever germs are on the floor right now, to be on my eyelids.”

The makeup whizz then used a beauty blender to blend in the products, leaving Julia horrified.

She continued: “So she went into this special cupboard to get a beauty blender, and you would think if it was in a special cupboard like that, it would be brand new, but don’t let the black beauty blender deceive you, because there must’ve been so much excess residue and sweat from other customers.

“It’s literally under my eyebags. It looks like when you go skiing and you get that tan line from the ski goggles.

We then saw the makeup artist aggressively blending in Julia’s foundation with the dirty beauty blender.

Shortly after, it was time for blusher, but Julia claimed: “I’m convinced that this is 100% lip gloss – there is no way that is cream blusher. That is 100% lip gloss.

“And you’ll see when she blends it – that it confirms that it’s 100% lip gloss, because it just doesn't blend.

“I just love how her solution was to cover it up with foundation – now I understand why my cheeks were so sticky.”

As Julia left the salon with her finished look, she claimed: “There was a moment when she put the blusher on me – I literally looked like I’d been punched in the face.

“Speaking about being punched in the face, she literally contortioned my face, to the point where I thought she was going to break my neck.

“I could've been paralysed, I’m not even trying to be dramatic.

“I’ve literally got severe whiplash from that.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @juliaguesmia, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly gone viral and has since amassed a staggering 5.4 million views.

Social media users were open-mouthed at Julia’s makeup fail and were quick to express this in the comments.

One person said: “I would vomit immediately after the sneeze.”

Another added: “You're braver than me.”

A third commented: “I would start crying.”

While another beauty fan claimed: “Idk how you remain so calm.”
