A MOVIE fan who went all-out for her office Halloween party costume received the worst possible news arriving at her desk.
Dressed head to toe in character, she was shocked to open the calendar invite that was impossible for her to change.
It was also impossible for her to change into something else.
She was stuck in full Dorothy mode from The Wizard of Oz and was due to appear in an important meeting that could decide her salary for the next year.
The Oz Vlog (@theozvlog) recounted her tale to her TikTok followers on TikTok, with wide-eyed bemusement.
“An embarrassing turn of events at the office Halloween party," she said with mock despair.
She wore a plaited wig, and gingham dress and completed the Judy Garland look with the requisite red sparkling shoes.
“Today was the office Halloween party. So of course I went all out with my Dorothy costume," she said softly.
“I then got a notification on my calendar. Our annual reviews removed up to today."
That was bad enough but there was worse to come.

This movie fan was going to have to cut a professional figure dressed as Dorothy.
It was a big ask: “Did I bring an outfit to change into? No, I did not," she admitted.
Despite the awkwardness, there were many among the 35,000 who liked her post, that considered her reaction exemplary.
“This proves how dedicated you are to team-building initiatives and participation in office activities. Total win," was the response of one person.
A second person had a similar experience: “Own it. I once had the state review board turn up unannounced when I was in full Leia costume.”
