WHEN people suspect that their partner is cheating, they may go to great lengths in order to catch them out.
But how far is considered too far?
Well, one woman on Reddit created conversation after she posted her recent antics.
Sharing her story anonymously, she revealed that she placed a tracking device in her husband’s car.
However, some have accused her of going too far.
The woman explained she first became suspicious of her spouse when he started coming home much later than usual and would even leave the house in the middle of the night.

At first she confronted him, but she got no answers – which led her to buying an Apple AirTag, which is a tracking device that connects to the Find My app on an iPhone.
It’s mostly used to help you track down your keys or wallet if you can’t find them.
She wrote: "My husband and I have been together for 6 years and married for two. We don’t have any children yet but we have been trying.
“He works for a construction company while I work from home as a wellness brand owner and vlogger.

"Over the past couple of months, he has been staying at work a lot later than usual. At first, I didn’t suspect any wrongdoing and just brushed it off. He has worked nights before, just never this often.
"However, last week I woke up at 2 am and he wasn’t in bed. I went back to sleep and asked him about it in the morning and he explained that he went for a run. At 2 in the morning? Weird but I brushed it off.
"Then he did it again a few nights later, except this time I heard his car pull up in the driveway. When he came back into our bedroom I pretended to be asleep.
"The next morning, while he was at work, I bought an Apple AirTag to track his whereabouts.
"When he got home from work, late might I add, I placed the AirTag in the glovebox of his car. I stayed up all night anticipating him sneaking out again and lo and behold; he did!
"I tracked his car and saw it go to an abandoned plot of land a whole 45-minute drive away.
I confronted him about it and he got absolutely furious
“He stayed there for almost two hours and then came home."
The woman explained that she spoke to her husband when he came home.
While she demanded to know what he had been up to, she claims her husband was more “furious” that she invaded his privacy.
She continued: "I confronted him about it and he got absolutely furious. I asked him why he was going there and he said that he was 'handling his business' and I should 'mind mine' and 'respect his privacy'.
“He packed a bag and has now been staying at his brother’s house for the last couple of nights."
Many people rushed to the comments section in the Reddit post to share their opinions on whether they support her or not.

One person said: "Everybody sucks here. Him for the lying and sneaking around, you for the tracking device.
“When you get to the point of putting a tracking device on your spouse's car, it's time to either go to marriage counselling or a lawyer for a divorce."
While another added: "If he's disappearing off at weird times you should be told where he's been.
"However, tracking someone is a**hole behaviour as well, you're both as bad in this scenario."
A third added: "He sucks for his lack of honesty, this sounds like some sort of shady deal to me.
"You suck for putting a tracker on him, that's disgusting behaviour also.”

According to Apple’s website, the device is "designed to discourage unwanted tracking".
If someone else's AirTag finds its way into your belongings, your iPhone will send you an alert to let you know it's travelling with you.

And if you can't find the device, it will start playing a sound to help you locate it.
However, this feature only kicks in if an AirTag is separated from its owner, which means you don't need to worry if you're travelling with a friend who has an AirTag.
