A WOMAN has revealed that she gave her plain kitchen the ultimate makeover, whilst on a budget.

Posting on TikTok under the username @shayhome, the DIY whizz explained how she gave her kitchen a new lease of life, whilst on a titchy budget.

She shared her clip with the caption ‘How I upgraded my kitchen’, as she claimed that she did the job for only £170 in total.

Shay shared a picture of her kitchen, prior to the makeover, before she got to work on the transformation.

Her plain space was in need of some TLC and Shay explained that she used some bargain buys from the high-street for the impressive overhaul.

Shay revealed that to transform her kitchen countertops, she used a vinyl wrapping from Wilko.

She noted that she measured it up beforehand, using small pen marks to cut it before applying it.

When it came to her tiles, she noted that she picked up the tile stickers from B&M and stuck the wrapping over the existing tiles, to create the illusion of real tiling.

She gave her cupboards a fresh lick of paint, using the V3V cupboard and worktop paint from B&Q.

Not only this, but to decorate her new kitchen, Shay explained that she picked up a beautiful vase from a charity shop, saving her money buying a brand-new one.
