Harry Styles’ first turn as SNL host this past weekend brought a lot of laughs, a Jon Hamm cameo, and thirsty comments on Sara Lee Bread’s Instagram account, naturally. One of Styles’ skits on the show saw him play Dillon, “sexually frustrated social media manager for the Sara Lee bread Instagram account.” Or as Out Magazine called him, a “chaotic bottom.”
Styles’ Dillon character gets called in for a meeting with his bosses where they ask him why he’s been using the brand’s IG account to comment things like “Wreck me daddy” on Nick Jonas and Shawn Mendes’ pictures.
Dillon also likes to write things like “Feeling really depressed after threesome. What was supposed to be a fantasy ended up more rejection. Must get rid of toxic in community,” as a caption under a photo of a grilled cheese sandwich. But of course, Dillon has a very simple answer for the off-brand captions and comments—he simply mixed-up his personal account with the Sara Lee account.

Usually, very funny skits like this one just live on through SNL’s YouTube account, but Styles is no regular host. He is, of course a former boy band member that continues to drive teenage girls wild. And also, the internet has a very funny sense of humor.
Since Styles’ SNL episode aired, people have been commenting things like “Destroy me king” and “🍆 🍆 🍆 💦 🚂 👻” on the Sara Lee Instagram account to parody the Dillon character. As Nylon reports, the bread company was a little taken aback at the comments, and they briefly disabled their comments, although some accused them of outright deleting the messages.
But in a statement to the Advocate, Sara Lee clarified that while “the explicit jokes in the skit do not align with Sara Lee Bread’s brand,” they’re going to take the comments “in stride.” Read their full statement below:
