The other day, when everyone was busy complaining about their presents and eating leftovers directly out of the fridge with a fork, Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland and Bachelor Nation alum Wells Adams decided to hop online to share a cute photo from Christmas. And Sarah captioned said photo “Third Christmas with you but first one engaged. You’d think we’d know how to take a proper picture at this point 🎄💍💕”
Like, look at how sweet and innocent they are—this couldn’t possibly turn weird, right? WRONG. It sure could!
As you can see, Wells is wearing a Game of Thrones sweater with a Dire Wolf on it, and he hit the comments of Sarah’s post with THIS amazingness: “My dire wolf really loves breast meat apparently.”
Meanwhile, Sarah replied “I apologize for there not being enough meat to feed your Wolf 🤷🏻♀️”
Truly, online flirting in 2019 is wild!
As a gentle reminder, Sarah and Wells started dating in Fall 2017, and got engaged over the summer in Fiji. Sarah described the moment as “That can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, world series kind of stuff,” and honestly the whole thing was extremely sweet:
During the People’s Choice Awards, Sarah told E! cameras that “We have not set a date or anything. We’re trying to really just enjoy being engaged.” She also implied the wedding will be ~exclusive~ so don’t expect some massive blow-out celebrity event. Either way, Chris Harrison better officiate.
