Following in the footsteps of his heavily-inked dad, Landon Barker added the new tattoo to his collection after losing a game of rock, paper, scissors.

The 19-year-old son of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker revealed the hyper-realistic tattoo of an eyeball with long lashes and defined brows on his right bicep earlier this month.

While many took it as a sweet gesture to demonstrate his love for his TikTok star girlfriend Charli D'Amelio, she has now revealed it was actually a forfeit for losing a game.

After telling her, "I have to get a tattoo. What should I get?", Charli said joked that he should "get my face".

Talking at the Tamagotchi Uni Launch Party in New York this week, Charli went on to say she dared Travis's eldest son to play rock, paper, scissors to decide whether he should go through with the dare.

"He was like, "Really? I'll do it." and I was like, "Rock, paper, scissors," and I won," she told People magazine.

"So she drives me to his dad's studio where he's getting the tattoo and we walk in and he's actually getting it. My only thought was, 'You have to tell my dad that you just got this.' But my parents thought it was cool and so did his."

She says it's "crazy" how realistic it looks, but finds the gesture "so cool".

Landon is the eldest of the two children Travis, 47, shares with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler, the American model and actress. His sister is Alabama Luella Barker, 17, and Travis is also still incredibly close to adopted daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, from Shanna's previous relationship.

After tying the knot – for the third time – with 44-year-old reality star Kourtney Kardashian in May, he also became stepdad to the children Kourtney shares with her ex Scott Dissick – Mason, 13, Penelope, 11 and eight-year-old Reign.

They also announced at a recent Blink-182 concert the happy news that they're expecting their first biological child together, and Kourtney has been showing off her blossoming bump.

Not known for loving surprises, Kourtney later shared a video of her Instagram of a gender reveal for the new arrival, setting off a coloured confetti cannon in the couple's stylish garden of their Calabasas home.

The Poosh founder was filmed sitting on her rocker husband's lap before he played the drums to accompany the firing of the cannon – which shot out blue confetti, confirming the arrival of a little boy.

The happy news came after the coupled struggled with gruelling rounds of IVF, which Kourtney said in her Disney+ reality show Kardashians, had taken a toll on her mentally and physically.

Fans of the couple have been enjoying watching them on the latest season of the the hit show, which offered some behind-the-scenes details of their plans for their Portofino wedding on the Italian Riviera.

Scenes showed the couple visiting a mecca of fashion – Dolce & Gabanna's design headquarters in Milan, where they were treated to an opera singing and piano playing on arrival.

On their big day, Kourtney wore a stunning custom-made dress by the designers, and then changed into a corset-style black lace frock adorned with red roses. The piece-de-resistance however was the blue trimmed veil with the image of the Virgin Mary in the middle.
