Former The Only Way Is Essex star Georgia Kousoulou has announced her star-studded bridesmaid list as she prepares to marry her fiancé Tommy Mallet.

Earlier this year the couple put their wedding on hold after they suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage when Georgia was 12 weeks pregnant.

But now the plans are back in full swing as the TV personality asked a host of her glamorous girlfriends for dinner and drinks at the swanky Sheesh restaurant in Essex this week.

TOWIE pals Chloe Lewis, Lydia Bright, Chloe Ross and Amber Dowding attended the special bridesmaid proposal event as Georgia asked them to be by her side on her big day.

Georgia announced her bridesmaid squad in a glam snap posted to her Instagram page.

She told her 1.5 million followers: "My bride squad. What a night asking my bridesmaids…

"I feel so so blessed to have the best girls around me! I just couldn't imagine getting married without these girls by my side. I have 12 bridesmaids…I know it's extra but so am I!"

The reality star thanked the restaurant for hosting the special occasion and businesses she used for her bridesmaid gifts.

Former TOWIE star Chloe Lewis also shared a post to mark the special occasion as she posed for a sweet snap with bride-to-be Georgia.

The future bride looked as fabulous as ever in a statement white blazer dress which featuresd a tie details to cinch in her waist. She paired it with sparkly heels and a vibrant red lipstick.

Chloe shared a glimpse at the sweet gifts she received when Georgia asked her to be one of her 12 bridesmaids.

It included a lavish bouquet of flowers and a framed poem.

Captioning her post, Chloe wrote: "So last night something super special happened…

"My girl Georg asked me to be bridesmaid. Can’t wait be by your side & to watch you walk down the isle. Love you very much."

The poem noted that they'd been through a lot together and that their 'history is special'.

The poem ended with: "I couldn't have got through TOWIE without you by my side, now I need you there as I become a bride.

"I love that we pick up where we left off, even if it's been a while, will you be my bridesmaid as I walk down the aisle?"

Chloe Ross also shared a series of images on her Instagram posing with Georgia, as she revealed she 'couldn't be more honoured' to be her bridesmaid.

She wrote: "YES! YES! YES! Last night was such a special evening. My best friend asked me to be a bridesmaid. I couldn’t be more honoured to be a part of this special day, I love you."

While former TOWIE star Amber Dowding posed alongside Georgia in another glam snap.

Lydia Bright also couldn't contain her excitement as she gushed over how "honoured" she was and revealed she was already "counting down the days until the hen party."

Speaking to OK! recently at the National Television Awards, Tommy revealed their wedding plans are well underway – but that Georgia has been taking the reigns.

Tommy told us: "[Georgia] does like planning it, and anything I say she goes against it" to which George interjected that he had suggested having "no flowers" on the big day.

Last November the pair opened up to OK! about their plans for their nuptials, revealing that they were considering holding their wedding in Spain, where they recently purchased a property.

Tommy popped the question last year, during a family holiday in Mexico, in a lavish location overlooking the coastline, surrounded by stunning roses.

Sharing a snap from the scene of the engagement, she told her Instagram followers: "'OF COURSE I SAID YES."
