Former Love Island stars Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury have left fans in shock after taking a Jet2 economy flight despite their £7 million fortune. The proud parents, along with their baby daughter Bambi, took the flight to their stunning holiday destination where they soaked up some sun.
The family went to Athens in June, where flights with the airline cost around £70 per person. The duo were spotted sorting their belongings out before boarding, and then storing their luggage away on the plane.
The video of the couple heading on their holiday was posted to TikTok and viewed by over 1.4 million people, with fans commenting on their choice of transport. One person commented: “There is no way bro is sitting in economy”, while another said: “Was under the impression they always fly 1st class”.
Fans were likely shocked that they flew economy as the family often shares luxurious snaps in business class, or first class, seats.
According to The Sun, Molly built up her money during the pandemic where she boosted her bank account by £2 million – making her one of the richest former islanders.
During the couple's lavish getaway, Molly-Mae made sure to keep her staggering 7.5 million followers updated with family snaps, boat days and stunning selfies. She also took the opportunity to share a sneak peak of her latest collection with PrettyLittleThing, where she continues to work as a brand ambassador, after stepping down as Creative Director last month.
Molly announced that she was stepping down from her role in a YouTube video where she explained she's had to make some difficult decisions to "rearrange her life" and "lose some commitments" after becoming a mum to five-month-old baby Bambi.
The influencer revealed: "Everything's going incredibly with PLT, I literally have the most insane relationship with PLT they're literally my family. Still working with them, still doing collections, still doing edits, but I've actually decided to step down from my creative director role."
She continued and said: "It's just naturally come to an end. I'm a mum now, I never really gave myself a maternity leave, I got straight back into work instantly.”
Following her trip to Greece, the mum recently gushed that holidays have a "whole different purpose" since welcoming her daughter, as she labelled it her “favourite summer yet”.
Taking to Instagram last week Molly posted a video reel from their time away and gushed in the caption: "My favourite summer yet… and it’s only just started."
The family isn't falling short on holidays this year, as they have already visited Dubai and Barbados with their tiny tot.
