EastEnders star Tamzin Outhwaite, 48, said she isn’t bothered about what people think about her relationship with 28-year-old Tom.
The actress found love with Tom, a documentary maker, following her divorce from Tom Ellis, 40, in 2014.
In a candid interview with OK! Magazine, she said people used to make jokes about their age gap, but insisted it’s never bothered them.
She said: “The age gap bothers other people but not us!
I’m very much the kid in our relationship

“I did initially question whether a 20-year age difference would work but we couldn’t stay away from each other.
“At first we heard lots of jokes about our ages but now people see how happy we are, all that has stopped.
“Also I’m very much the kid in our relationship.”
Tamzin first met Tom in 2016 before making their romance official in 2017.
The pair took their relationship to the next level recently when he moved into her family home.
The actress shares daughters Florence, 11, and seven-year-old Marnie with her ex-husband.
Tamzin went on to praise Tom for “fitting in perfectly” with her family.
She continued: “He knows the girls are the loves of my life and he’d never try to compete with that.
“It’s obviously a big deal to introduce a new partner into your children’s lives but Tom’s fitted in perfectly.”
The actress also said she would be open to tying the knot with Tom, despite her last marriage not ending “perfectly”.
Elsewhere, last month, Tamzin revealed she is leaving the soap after 21 on-off years in the show.
In view of her 213,000 Twitter followers, she said she had finished filming her final scenes.

She wrote: “So that’s it! The end of an era… for me at least.
“Melanie Healy/Beale/Owen has left the building… it’s been a pleasure, a privilege and a 21 year association with a family I will cherish forever and never forget.”
But insisting the door is open for her to return, she added: “TIL next time my beautiful cast and crew… you all rock.”(sic)
