Sunday Brunch star Tim Lovejoy crashes to the ground in hilarious tumble moments into live show… and no one is allowed to help him up
Tim Lovejoy was left red-faced after taking a stupendous tumble on air during Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.
The presenter, 52, confirmed he was left unharmed after the hilarious fall on Sunday morning, which left him slamming to the ground while he introduced himself at the beginning of the episode.
The presenter attempted to dance during the introductions just moments into the episode, but stumbled backwards, tumbling to the floor.

Co-host Simon Rimmer, 57, instantly let out a shocked shout before bursting into uncontrollable laughter.
He then cried, ‘I can’t even help you up!’ due to ongoing social distancing rules in the studio.
Tim eventually hauled himself up on to his knees while trying to carry on with the show.

Guest singer Izzy Bizu, 26, couldn’t stop laughing from the across the studio, prompting Tim to jokingly ask her to: ‘Stop laughing!’.
Later in the day the show’s Twitter account posted: ‘Well that’s one way to start the show! Be careful Tim Lovejoy!
‘We can confirm Tim is okay.’

During the show Simon asked how he was feeling and Tim told him he felt a ‘throbbing pain’.
Later Tim explained to any viewers who were just joining that his crashing to the ground was ‘a stage fall. It was all planned’.
Simon joked, ‘Lucky you didn’t fall out the window,’ to which Tim replied, ‘It’s a long way down mate, through those fake windows.’

The show returned to the studio to film two weeks ago after weeks of filming from home during the coronavirus pandemic, which has halted TV production across the globe.
A reduced crew and socially distanced interviews meant it was safe for the presenters to return to the studio, with Tim telling viewers recently:
Tim told viewers: ‘There is never more than three of us here at any one time and we can make sure social distancing is possible at all times.
‘We are working with a much smaller crew and we have reduced the numbers and contact, it is looking a lot quieter than usual.
‘While we are excited to be here, we are also taking strict measures to ensure the safety of our guests and crew.
Simon added: ‘As you can see it’s just the two of us here, for now, we will be bringing a couple of guests on separately later on in the show.’
