And Tess Daly put on an equally glamorous display as Claudia Winkleman when they waltzed onto the dancefloor to present Strictly's pre-recorded launch show on Saturday.

The blonde bombshell, 50, looked sensational in a velvet deep blue dress which had a cheeky thigh split to reveal her long pins.

The presenter oozed confidence as she placed one hand on her hip and in turn drew eyes to the cinched waistline of her dress.

Tess invited her followers into her dressing room with a mirror selfie where she posed with her make-up artist and wardrobe assistant.

She documented her first Strictly look with a series of Instagram posts.

Claudia, 47, also showed off her style credentials in a striking scarlet suit which glittered under the spotlights.

The TV host outlined her features with heavy eye make-up and she plumped out her pout with a nude lipstick.

Strictly's Claudia styled her shoulder-length brunette mane in tousled curls that offset her pretty face.
