Stacey Dooley took to social media today to show off her new shoes. The documentary filmmaker proudly snapped a photo of her footwear, but admitted that her boyfriend might not like them as much as she did, when she later shared it online.
Stacey is currently dating former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Kevin Clifton.
The couple, who met when the 34-year-old took part in the ballroom dancing contest in 2018, moved into a new house together last summer.
The pair have been redecorating their pad since moving in, although the theatre star has admitted that they don’t always see eye-to-eye when it comes to selecting items to furnish it.
Stacey’s latest purchase is a pair of shoes rather than an item for their home, however she seemed sure of her partner’s reaction before even showing them to him.
The TV star could be seen wearing the black trainers in her latest Instagram post.
She teamed the footwear with a gold ankle chain and a pair of blue denim jeans.
“I’m going to be single, the second he sees these,” she amusingly wrote on the picture-sharing site in view of her 968,000 followers.
Earlier in the year, Kevin said that he and his girlfriend don’t always agree on style.
During an appearance on the Beehive podcast with Nataliya Lloyd, Kevin spoke about a disagreement they’d had over the decor in their bedroom.
Stacey wanted to create a feature wall to complement the stylish interior.
She opted for a painting technique called “agitated movement”.
Not at all impressed, the 38-year-old ex-Strictly star said it looked like it was mouldy.

“I was thinking why are we paying four times the price to make it look like we’ve got mould on the walls,” he said to the host.
“And we have his big… I really didn’t want to go for it.
“Why can’t we have it white like all the other walls. Nice, really clean etc,” Kevin pleaded.
“But now we’ve got it, I really like it. Again it’s really calming,” he conceded.
The former Glow Up star is currently on TV screens with her new show Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over.
In the most recent episode, she slammed Kevin for his cooking skills.
“My boyfriend can’t even cook a chicken Kiev,” she told viewers at home.
“Gotta pick up my Kiev game #staceysleepsover @wchannel,” he wrote on Twitter after watching the show.
The dancer, who is often called King Kev by his partner, was later renamed “King Kiev.”
“This is going to catch on isn’t it,” he added, along with a hand on face emoji.
