Bankrupt Katie Price sent a message to bosses of a burger joint asking for a job after applauding the company for its ethics.

The former glamour girl, 41, took to Twitter to praise Denny's UK over a video which explained their policy of opening branches on Christmas day to help the homeless.

She called the idea of having nowhere to go over the holidays "heartbreaking" and said she'd happily work for a company like Denny's.

Katie tweeted: "Omg this heartbreaking @dennys_dineruk can I come and work for you please I love your values!"

She'd reacted to a video was shared on the Denny's UK Twitter page with the caption: "Our communities are important to us.

Katie was almost certainly joking about getting a job at the burger joint, but it's not impossible that she might long for stable employment after years of financial turmoil.

She was made bankrupt in 2019 after failing to pay back her creditors, and could face the possibility of losing her mucky mansion in West Sussex.

However, the former model is attempting to claw back some cash by embarking on a tour of the UK giving make-up masterclasses.

The dates kick off this week and continue across next month with stops in cities such as Liverpool, Newcastle and Amberdeen.

Fans can fork out around £80 a ticket to see Katie, along with her make-up artist, explain how to achieve her signature looks.

Katie is also filming another series of her Quest Red reality show My Crazy Life, plugging diet products on Instagram and scheduling live appearances.

She sang at a club in the French Alps last weekend, and she's said to be plotting yet another music comeback by launching a new single.
