Simon Cowell is clearly having the time of his life as he enjoyed a cheeky pamper session while in the bathtub in a throwback snap.

The music mogul appeared to be in a good mood as he flashed a big grin for the camera while rocking a face mask, as he posed alongside singer-songwriter Quben Alex.

Quben had shared the vintage photo to her Instagram account, before it was later reposted by Lizzie Cundy on her story.

‘Guess who!’ she wrote. ‘The good old days.’

It is not known when the pic was said to have been taken, but considering Simon’s younger looks, it’s more than likely to have been some time ago.

Meanwhile, Simon is continuing to recover after he broke his back when he fell off an electric bike at his home in Malibu in August.

The 60-year-old was rushed to hospital and later underwent five hours of surgery, and has been forced to miss the live shows for both Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.

Simon was hoping to be well enough to take part in Britain’s Got Talent’s first-ever Christmas special, however it was previously reported that he had decided to pull out.

A source told The Sun: ‘Simon hoped he’d be well enough to fly from Los Angeles to the UK for the special show but he’s had to pull out.

‘Plus the new lockdown measures – and him having to fly two weeks before the show so he could quarantine in advance – made it even more difficult for him to make the journey.’

The insider suggested that Ashley Banjo, who replaced Simon on the judging panel for the live shows, could return for the upcoming special.

They added: ‘Ashley stepped in for Simon during the pre-recorded semi-finals and was a hit with viewers so he was the first choice to step in again.

‘Simon will of course be across the show and what happens on it but this is a massive blow for him as he adores Britain’s Got Talent.’
