Sarah Michelle Gellar is all smiles as she takes a seat on Santa’s lap while attending the Palisades Village Tree Lighting Wintry Celebration held on Sunday (November 24) in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

The 42-year-old actress hosted the second annual Christmas tree lighting, which featured introductory remarks from Billy and Janice Crystal, followed by a warm welcome from Councilmember Mike Bonin.

The show opened with a Christmas duet of “Walking in a Winter Wonderland” by Disney Channel’s Dakota Lotus and Jayden Bartels. The program also included a festive performance by students from The Adderley School and an upbeat dance routine by Fik-shun to a mashup of holiday classics. The spirited spectacle culminated with the arrival of Santa Claus, the lighting of the dazzling 50-foot-tall Christmas tree and the season’s first snowfall.
