Roman Kemp has carved an incredible career for himself in showbusiness. As well as fronting Capital FM’s breakfast show, Roman had an incredibly successful stint on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, finishing in third place. As well as winning over the nation’s hearts, Roman also managed to win over his girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flury, who he has been dating since 2018.

Anne-Sophie is a neuroscientist and entrepreneur from Bern, Switzerland, and she and Roman recently moved into a flat together.

The couple share their adorable pooch Luna, and the pair often share adorable snaps of each other on Instagram.

Like many modern-day romances, Roman met his future girlfriend on dating app Tinder.

In December 2019, Roman spoke to the Mirror about the beginnings of his relationship with Anne-Sophie.

Roman said: “She is 25 and beautiful. To be honest I don’t know how I landed her.

“We met when she posted a pair of shoes on Instagram.

“I liked them and then a week later I was on Tinder and it was the same girl.

“And I was like: I’ve got to message her!

“So I messaged her on Instagram and within a week we met. It was fate.

“I think we live in a world now where everyone meets digitally I think.”

Roman said Anne-Sophie has got “brains and beauty”, and early on their relationship the couple had to coordinate their schedules to get to know each other.

Roman told the Mirror how he had to put in the effort to make their relationship work long-distance initially after Anne-Sophie took a job abroad.

He said: “We’ve been dating two years. Is she the one? Who knows. You never know! But it’s love, 100% and I am committed to it.

“I am hanging onto her. She moved to Hong Kong last year for a job for six months. So I went back and forth from Hong Kong.

“I got the Airmiles up. It was okay doing long distance. I got time off so I could visit her.”

Roman was back on our screens this week for Celebrity Gogglebox along with his father, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp.

The celebrity father-son duo are always a hit with the show’s audience, and the pair are known to have a fantastic relationship.

Roman and Martin will soon be pairing up for a new joint project, ITV challenge show Martin and Roman’s Sunday Best!

Celebrity Gogglebox airs on Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
