Princess Maria Petrovna Galitzine, who was a descendant of Emperor Karl I and Zita de Borbon-Parma, passed away just six days away from her 32nd birthday after suffering from a sudden cardiac aneurysm, according to her obituary.

She was born in 1988 to Prince and Princess Piotr Galitzine in the city of Luxembourg. Her family later moved to Moscow, where she was schooled at German School of Moscow. Later in life, she settled in the United States in the Houston, Texas area with her husband, Rishi Roop Singh, a Houston-based chef. She leaves behind a two-year-old son.

Princess Maria passed away on May 4th, 2020 and was laid to rest this past Friday. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
