Piers Morgan has lashed out at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over ]reports they have landed a $150 million deal with Netflix.
The GMB host reacted after Netflix CEO Ted Sandros confirmed the company had signed up Harry and Meghan as their 'authenticity, optimism and leadership' had 'inspired millions' around the world.
Speaking in his column for the Mail Online, Piers fumed: "How could anyone possibly feel 'inspired' by Meghan and Harry's 'authenticity, optimism and leadership' or 'resilience' given that they've spent the past two years whining, quitting, living off rich people and preaching about equality from their position of supreme elitism?"

Piers then added that the huge fee they are reported to be receiving was an impressive achievement as he insisted their combined production experience could be "written on the back of a postage stamp."
He added: "Their entire joint CV would read something like: 'Meghan was a suitcase girl on Deal or No Deal and an actress on Suits, a TV show made in Canada. And Harry's shown some real thespian promise with his hostage video performances on camera during lockdown."

Speaking about their Netflix partnership in a statement earlier this week, Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, said: "Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us."
They also said that Netflix's "unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action."
At the beginning of the year the couple made the decision to come away from their positions as Senior Royals and they officially stepped down in March.

The couple, who now live in LA with their one-year-old son Archie, have already made a move in their new Hollywood direction.
Meghan's first job since stepping down was to narrate the Disney Plus docuseries Elephants, which came out in April.
Harry then appeared in a new Netflix documentary about about the Paralympic Games called Rising Phoenix, which aired on 26 August.
And last year he announced that he was partnering with Oprah Winfrey on on an Apple TV+ docuseries about mental health.
A statement on Sussex Royal Instagram account said at the time: “The dynamic multi-part documentary series will focus on both mental illness and mental wellness.
"Inspiring viewers to have an honest conversation about the challenges each of us faces, and how to equip ourselves with the tools to not simply survive, but to thrive."
