Beloved actress Phyllis Somerville has passed away at the age of 76.
Somerville died of natural causes on Thursday (July 16) at her home in New York City, her manager told Deadline.
Phyllis was best known for her work on TV shows like The Big C and NYPD Blue, as well as in movies like Little Children, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and 2019′s Poms.
Most recently, Phyllis appeared on Broadway in the original cast of To Kill a Mockingbird, in which she played Atticus Finch’s elderly and racist neighbor Mrs. DuBose. She appeared in the show for a full year until her final performance in November 2019.
